Fond\u00e9e par le Centre de recherche et d\u00e9veloppement en interpr\u00e9tation et traduction (CR\u00c9DIT) en partenariat avec le Grenier des Savoirs, *Tafsiri <\/em>- une revue panafricaine de traduction et d\u2019interpr\u00e9tation se veut un lieu de rassemblement et de partage en mati\u00e8re de savoirs entre les th\u00e9oriciens et praticiens \u0153uvrant dans les deux professions jumelles. Elle a pour but d\u2019encourager et de promouvoir les recherches rigoureuses qui explorent l\u2019enseignement et la pratique de la communication interculturelle notamment dans le contexte africain. L\u2019objectif ultime de la revue est de propulser le d\u00e9veloppement de la traduction et l\u2019interpr\u00e9tation en Afrique, continent indiscutablement multilingue et aux besoins aigus en mati\u00e8re de communication interculturelle. En tant que revue du Grenier des Savoirs, Tafsiri <\/em>souscrit \u00e0 la publication des r\u00e9sultats des travaux de recherche en libre acc\u00e8s pour le bien commun. Il est \u00e0 noter que le mot Tafsiri <\/em>signifie \u00ab traduction \u00bb en Swahili, une langue consid\u00e9r\u00e9e comme \u00e9tant centrale et sociologiquement strat\u00e9gique sur le continent africain.<\/p>\r\n

Tafsiri <\/em>accepte les contributions non seulement des auteurs bas\u00e9s en Afrique, mais aussi de ceux qui sont bas\u00e9s en dehors de l\u2019Afrique et dont les travaux de recherche portent principalement ou en partie sur la traduction et l\u2019interpr\u00e9tation par les Africains et pour les Africains. Pour l\u2019instant, les langues de publication accept\u00e9es sont le fran\u00e7ais et l\u2019anglais mais les contributions peuvent porter sur les langues africaines. Founded by the Centre for Research & Development in Interpretation & Translation (CREDIT) in partnership with the Grenier des Savoirs, *Tafsiri<\/em>- a pan-African journal of translation and interpretation - is a forum for knowledge gathering and sharing between theorists and practitioners working in the twin professions. It aims to encourage and promote rigorous research that explores the teaching and practice of intercultural communication, particularly in the African context. The ultimate objective of the journal is to propel the development of translation and interpretation in Africa, an undeniably multilingual continent with acute needs in intercultural communication. As a journal of the Grenier des Savoirs, Tafsiri <\/i>subscribes to the publication of the results of open access research for the common good. It should be noted that the word Tafsiri <\/i>means \"translation\" in Swahili, a language considered as being central and sociologically strategic on the African continent.<\/p>\r\n

Tafsiri<\/em> accepts contributions not only from Africa-based authors but also from those based outside Africa whose research works focus mainly or partly on translation and interpretation by and for Africans. For the time being, the accepted languages of publication are French and English, but contributions can be made on African languages as well. The articles to be published may cover the following topics, among others:<\/p>\r\n
