Tassah Ivo Tawe holds a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. in Geography from the University of Buea, Cameroon. He is currently a Ph.D fellow in the University of Yaoundé 1, Cameroon with specialization in Environmental Dynamics and Risk, Option in Natural Resources Management. He holds a wealth of professional experience in the field of research and teaching. He is currently a Senior Research Officer in the Ministry of Scientific Research and Innovation, Yaoundé-Cameroon. He was recruited in January 2017 as a Research Associate in the Department of Economics and Environmental Sciences, National Centre for Education, Ministry of Scientific Research and Innovation, Yaoundé-Cameroon. He has published extensively in many learned national and international scientific journals and book chapters and has attended many national and international conferences and workshops in and out of Cameroon. He is currently a consultant in an international project on “Mapping out options for a Model Legislation for Sustainable Soil Management in Africa”, funded by a grant from the Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH to Stellenbosch University, Republic of South Africa. On the 7th of November 2019, he was promoted by a Ministerial decree to the rank of a Research Officer in the Ministry of Scientific Research and Innovation.
